Our approach

We keep cookies to a minimum. You do not need an account to use the site, so we do not set login cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data. Because we do not set any cookies that need your consent, you will not see a cookie banner.

Essential cookies

Some cookies and similar technologies are needed for the site to work, to keep it secure, or to provide a service you have asked for.

When you go to checkout, our payment provider may set cookies that are needed to take your payment securely and to help prevent fraud. Our hosting and security providers may also use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to deliver the site, keep it secure, balance traffic, and protect it from abuse.

When you place an order, we set one cookie of our own so that your order confirmation page can check the progress of that order. Its name starts with gw_checkout_ followed by your order's reference. It holds a random confirmation code that only works for that one order, it cannot be read by scripts on the page, and it expires after about an hour. It is not used for statistics and does not identify you across visits.

These are strictly necessary, so they do not need your consent. We list them here so you know what may be set and why.

Analytics

We use cookieless analytics to understand basic things, such as how many people visit and which pages are popular. It does not set any cookies, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

You can switch website statistics off at any time on our Website statistics page. If you do, we keep that one setting in your browser's storage on this device so we remember your choice; it contains no identifier and stays until you switch statistics back on or clear this site's data. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, statistics are off automatically.
